Cravings can be a major hurdle to overcome during the transition phase of a whole food diet,and may take more than a year to dissipate for some. However, the cravings will disappear and prayer will go far in helping you through this transition period!
Below you will find a list of foods by category. Try to work out of the foods to be avoided as quickly as possible. Eating the majority of foods from the Ideal Diet list is the healthiest for you in order for healing in the body to take place and for continued good health. If you are not ill, choosing occasional choices from the Transitional Diet for treats, cooked foods, etc. is appropriate. We all want to move out of the foods to avoid list ASAP. These are the killer foods that create so many of our physical problems.
Begin by adding as much food as possible from the IDEAL DIET. These are the life giving, cell-building and healing foods that you need to strengthen and rebuild your immune system. Remember, ideally we want to eat approximately 65% raw foods each day for optimum health. A great goal is to try to incorporate more raw foods each day and decrease the processed foods that you eat. I will be adding lots of yummy recipes to this site to help you make these changes!

IDEAL DIET: Freshly extracted vegetable & fruit juices, organic herb teas and purified water, natural mineral water.
TRANSITIONAL DIET: Cereal grain coffee, organic decaf coffee, 100% organic cocoa. Organic bottled juices.
FOODS TO BE AVOIDED: Alcohol (Esp. if you have Hep C!), tap water, coffee, black tea, processed cocoa,
artificially carbonated beverages, soft drinks, artificial fruit drinks,
and all canned juices.
IDEAL DIET: Grass fed, raw goat or cow butter,
eggs from grass fed hens, raw goat milk & raw goat milk products such as kefir and cheeses.
TRANSITIONAL DIET: Same as above.
FOODS TO BE AVOIDED: All pasteurized cow milk products such as hard cheese, ice cream, whipped toppings,
non-dairy coffee creamers, etc.
IDEAL DIET:
Wild Alaskan Salmon, Halibut, Tuna and other clean fish ~ meaning edible per ADONAI's Word (see Deut. 14:10 and Lev. 11:10-12). I strongly caution you to eat only wild Alaskan seafood due to contamination of our waters today!
TRANSITIONAL DIET:See above.
FOODS TO BE AVOIDED: ALL unclean~meaning inedible~ seafood such as clams, oysters,
shrimp, lobster, and ALL farmed seafood.
IDEAL DIET: All organic fresh fruit, preferably eaten in season; organic unsweetened frozen fruit.
TRANSITIONAL DIET: Unsulphered dried fruits.
FOODS TO BE AVOIDED: Canned and sweetened fruits (commercial raisons in particular are
hazardous to our health.)
IDEAL DIET: Whole-grains (oats, brown rice, rye, couscous, quinoa, millet, etc.), in moderation; sprouted yeast free sourdough or whole grain bread; soaked and cooked beans; legumes (lentils).
TRANSITIONAL DIET: Whole-grain boxed cereals, store bought whole grain bread, muffins, pasta, canned beans, etc.
FOODS TO BE AVOIDED: All white flour products, all hull-less grains (pasta,
crackers,snack foods, white rice, cold cereals, etc.)
IDEAL DIET: Clean Meats only, organic, pesticide free, hormone free, and grass fed if at all possible as these contain higher EFAs that our diet is lacking today.
TRANSITIONAL DIET: See above.
FOODS TO BE AVOIDED: All Unclean Meats such as pork, and processed meats.
IDEAL DIET: All raw nuts and seeds. Eat in small amounts due to high fat content.
TRANSITIONAL DIET: Same as above......NOTE: While we can certainly eat any nuts that Abba has given us, I found that almonds, sunflower seeds, and walnuts were the
easiest nuts to digest when I was very ill. Most folks that are ill
have a difficult time with cashews and pecans, etc. Soaking our nuts/seeds overnight will make them more digestible. You may wish to try this for yourself and see how your body responds.
FOODS TO BE AVOIDED: All roasted and/or salted nuts and seeds, peanuts, peanut butter. Peanuts are particularly hazardous.
IDEAL DIET: Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil and Organic Flax Oil.
TRANSITIONAL DIET: Cold-pressed oils (ex: walnut, sunflower) and cold-pressed
mayo
FOODS TO BE AVOIDED: All lard, shortenings and margarines which are made w/hydrogenated oils. These are extrememly hazardous.
IDEAL DIET: Organic herbs & spices, kelp, dulse, onions, garlic, Real Salt or Celtic Sea Salt, Nutritional Yeast, Herbamare, Nama Shoyu (raw soy sauce).
TRANSITIONAL DIET:See above.
FOODS TO BE AVOIDED:Bragg's Liquid Amino's; Table Salt (Sodium Chloride such as Mortons Salt, etc); Black Pepper, Natural Flavors.
IDEAL DIET: Raw soups, soup broths made from scratch.
TRANSITIONAL DIET: See above.
FOODS TO BE AVOIDED: All canned or packaged soups.
IDEAL DIET: No more than 1 Tbs. of raw honey a day.
TRANSITIONAL DIET: Raw unfiltered honey, rice syrup, unsulphered molasses,
maple syrup, date sugar, Sucanat, whole fruit, naturally sweetened jelly (all limited quantities)
FOODS TO BE AVOIDED: All refined white or brown sugars, processed pancake syrups, jelly, chocolate,
candy, gum, cake, cookies, donuts, pies, etc.
IDEAL DIET: Raw saurkraut, kim chee, steamed or baked sweet potato, white potato, organic corn and other steamed veggies. Try to eat lots of raw vegetables in your diet on a daily basis as well, especially green leafy vegetables, sprouts.
TRANSITIONAL DIET: Cooked frozen vegetables, baked corn chips.
FOODS TO BE AVOIDED: All canned veggies, fried vegetables in any form, fried corn and
potato chips.
When I began this way of eating, I was eating MANY of the foods to be avoided on a daily basis....If I can do this, you can too! I loved to eat! Was way too infatuated with it in fact! Can you relate?!
I went through my refrigerator and cupboards and threw away or donated any foods that I knew I could live without right away....then as I used up other products in my home, they were replaced with healthier food choices. For instance, white sugar was replaced with honey, blackstrap molasses. Canned goods were donated and replaced with dried beans, lentils, etc. Eventually you will have a stocked fridge and pantry with wholesome foods by doing it this way. Do it gradually and you have a very high chance of not even feeling the cleansing process that your body will be doing.
The closer we can come to eating the Ideal Diet the easier we make it for our bodies to expell the years and years of toxins that are stored in our fatty cells and the better we will feel!!!
